About six months ago, I stumbled into the cactus underground. The old growers were already here long before people like me arrived, preserving genetics like sacred relics while the rest of the system kept collapsing in on itself.
Cactus Affinity became one of the few reliable signals in the wasteland. Someone who’s been in the game long enough to remember what real business was about and how it looked like. He understood our obsession. A veteran of the game, moving with the kind of integrity you only find in the old-world growers. My first cutting showed up oversized, healthy, almost unreal — like contraband smuggled through a dying supply chain. It completely shattered my expectations.
And I have been hooked ever since because of his generosity and thoughtfulness. It is contagious.
Since then, I’ve been chasing new cuttings from Cactus Affinity like a scavenger for scraps of the old world.
