Our SS02 plants are grown outdoors in Chico, California planted directly in the ground. They are grown without chemical inputs, grafting, or forced reproduction. We grow one SS02 cactus that has reached a mature size and is propagated carefully to ensure it continues to flower each year. We also grow SS02 planted more intensively in a raised bed open to the earth where we are able to more regularly take cuttings.Â

Iâve never grown or ordered Trichocereus before so I didnât know what to expect. The included extra made my day, definitely wasnât expecting that! These cuts are also a lot thicker and heavier than I thought theyâd be which is a pleasant surprise. Iâm rooting them in nothing but perlite in my grow room under a Mars Hydro light and they seem to be doing good so far.
