His landlord wanted to kick him out of his house in order to raise the rent, so when NS and his wife were in South America the landlord threw all his plants over the side of a steep hill and stole thousands of dollars worth of property from NS's bedroom. Anyway, NS gave me the plants, so I rescued them because NS was too old to care for them, especially when they were heaved over the side of a precipice. ”
