This is Murple #7, imported by Murple from Bolivia twenty something years ago and sourced from Sacred Succulents.
Murple imported a number of cacti, at least seven, but all appear to be lost except #7 here.
From Keeper Trout and Friends p. 96, “Murple also made an interesting comment that he was unable to locate any stands of bridge… in the La Paz area that did not show signs of heavy harvesting. He claimed to have encountered a quarter mile hedge of bridge… in which he was unable to find a single stem that had not seen a harvest.”
These cuttings are cut to order and will need to callous before shipping. This additional handling time means they will ship out about one to two weeks after you place your order.
