Vernes 2006 KK perus

Verne grew out and planted several cactuses from his 2006 import of Karel Knize (KK) cactus seed. The photos on this page show some of the unique plants these have turned into.

I purchased cuttings from Verne of all his KK cactus seedlings and have been growing them now for many years.  In 2022 after Verne’s death I purchased his cactus collection and have moved the majority of the 2006 KK mother plants to the Cactus Affinity farm near Chico, CA. 

Verne was characteristically displeased with Knize, the seeds, just about everything really, but some really nice plants resulted.
