formerly known as Gargantua or Sacred Valley Gargantua, or even Armando, this cactus is now known as Blue Buddha
"I initially acquired the Gargantua ... from Armando Munõs (Sayre Tupac Wiracocha) while at his retreat in Urubamba in the early 2000's. It was the same retreat where I picked up the [pach]. About two years ago, Armando told me that his name for the Gargantua is Blue Buddha. Armando Muños spent a few years studying Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. It makes sense that he would call the trich strain Blue Buddha. Personally I like the name Blue Buddha much better than Gargantua!"
